Outerwear!

Now the cold months are upon us, it is indeed the time to break out the outerwear. From jackets to coats, whatever you may prefer.... outerwear always makes us feel all dressed up.

One classic look I cannot get over...... the coat. A coat can add a high class flair to any outfit and having only one coat can go a long way.

The ever popular pea coat is a strong survivor of the times and shows no wear and tear in the industry. It is a favorite for those who prefer to go with a more sophisticated European look. If the cool urban look is your forte, the jacket is the way to go. With many variations on color and style today, the jacket has endless possibilities.

Just throw a coat over your favorite ensemble or go with denim/khakis, some spiffy shoes(boots/oxfords) and a cool shirt. If you like, you can even throw a scarf on.....I say go all out!!

You can find the jackets displayed at Urban Outfitters.

Cool Boot

That's right people.....it is time for the boots!!

I posted some of my personal favorites.......I prefer the tan rugged look but the black ones are just as great.

You can go full military style and wear them with a military styled jacket and some denim(slim/skinny).

Suspenderz

Ahhhhhh!!!! Lol, I know they are ancient and maybe you consider them to be worn by only old people.........but I love suspenders!!!! Suspenders are high fashion and today can go with almost any look.

There are different styles of suspenders, X-backs and Y-backs. Pair them with denim or khakis. Suspenders work best with your shirt tucked in and
don't forget to ditch the belt; suspenders play the role of the belt by holding up your "trousers". Remember to adjust them so they hold your pants at the position you normally wear your pants, if not.....they can give you a royal wedgie and that could be pretty unsightly!

Ensemble: I would wear dark denim(slim), a button up(maybe a solid color or really small stripes), oxfords and suspenders.
